How we select the tools we work with

The tools you see listed under the tools page have all been used by us at least for a few weeks. We don't list tools that we haven't had the chance to test in real-world scenarios.

When we choose a tool, we give the utmost importance to UX and UI, however we exclude those that have only a nice design but don't work well.

Only tools that we use daily get the green checkmark, as they are what we believe to be the best in class according to our experience as users and developers. The checkmark is removed as soon as we stop using them - usually because we've found something better.

How we rate our tools

  • 1 star: We use it for strict necessity. If we could, we wouldn't use it.
  • 2 stars: It's ok overall, but we don't love using it.
  • 3 stars: It's a good tool, however UX/UI still lacks a bit.
  • 4 stars: It's a great tool, and UX/UI are satisfactory.
  • 5 stars: We have an hard time finding cons for this tool.

How new tools get on the list

Anyone can recommend us a tool, but it will make it to the list only if we've used it for at least a few weeks and has entered our daily workflow. This means that we've considered it good enough to be rated according to the above mentioned criteria.
