Supabase
An Open Source Firebase alternative. And the one that I use.
What I like about it
I’ve ony started using Supabase recently, but I can easily understand why it has become one of the most supported stacks in the industry: it offers a Postgres database, authentication tools, storage and much more grouped under a single product, it’s free to get started and extremely easy to use.
What I don't like about it
As a new Supabase user, I found their documentation very clear and comprehensive, with a few exceptions. One of these is the distinction between the Supabase Auth Helpers and the Supabase SSR library; another I already talked about in a dedicated blog post. However, I get that such a huge documentation is not easy to maintain, and therefore it doesn’t impact my overall positive judgment of the product.
